Celebrating Cuban History & Culture

Every year, CCFA Toronto brings together members, friends, and supporters to celebrate important moments in Cuban history and culture.

Our annual January celebration marks the anniversary of the Cuban Revolution, while our July Moncada Day event commemorates an important milestone in Cuba’s revolutionary history. These gatherings feature cultural programming, speakers, food, music, and opportunities to connect and celebrate Canada’s friendship with Cuba.

Material Aid & Fundraising for Cuba

CCFA Toronto participates in national solidarity campaigns that raise funds and mobilize material assistance for the Cuban people.

Working alongside other organizations in the Canada-Cuba solidarity movement, we support initiatives that help deliver much-needed supplies and resources to Cuba. Our members contribute through fundraising, community outreach, organizing, and volunteer efforts that turn solidarity into practical assistance.

Café Cuba: Learning & Community

Café Cuba is CCFA Toronto’s recurring community event series, bringing people together to learn, exchange ideas, and strengthen connections.

Each gathering offers something different, from Cuban film screenings and guest speakers to discussions, fundraising activities, and firsthand reports from people who have visited Cuba through the Che Guevara Volunteer Work Brigade. Whether you’re a longtime member or simply curious to learn more about Cuba, Café Cuba is a welcoming place to connect with others.

Solidarity Campaigns & Public Advocacy

CCFA Toronto organizes and participates in public campaigns that promote solidarity with Cuba and advocate for respect for Cuba’s sovereignty and self-determination.

Our activities include demonstrations, educational forums, community outreach, and campaigns opposing the U.S. economic blockade of Cuba. Through these efforts, we work with supporters and partner organizations to raise awareness, encourage public discussion, and strengthen the Canada-Cuba solidarity movement.
