The CCFA is proud to be marching in the 2025 PrideTO Parade on Sunday, June 29. We’ll be gathering at 1:00 PM at Aylmer Avenue and Yonge Street. Our contingent will be led by CCFA co-chair Keyda, and all are welcome to join.
While Pride may not be our central focus as an organization, we proudly march in solidarity with Cuba’s LGBTQ+ community. Much like our support for Palestinian liberation, our participation in Pride reflects Cuba’s deep and ongoing commitment to justice and equality.
At a time of rising backlash against queer communities, it’s more important than ever to highlight Cuba’s example. The 2022 Cuban Family Code is one of the most progressive in the world, enshrining the rights of LGBTQ+ families and individuals. We hope to raise awareness of this landmark legislation and show that a better future is possible.
