The Canadian Network on Cuba is appealing for urgent help for the hospitals treating victims of the oil tank facility accident in Matanzas.
This campaign asks for funds to be sent directly to – Juan Gualberto Gomez Association in Toronto.
The need for medicine and medical supplies is urgent. The Association of Cubans in Toronto (Juan Gualberto Gomez Association) is experienced and organized in sending material support to Cuba. They have arranged for shipments by air transport over the next few weeks.
Any donations, big or small, are important and will help greatly. Time is of essence.
We want to do our part in the international response for help. Firefighters from Mexico and Venezuela have already been on the ground in Matanzas. There are also solidarity fundraising campaigns in several countries. Cuba is not alone!
